Feeders & Feed Accessories
Feeding your colony at the right time can be the difference between a strong winter and a dead-out in February. We carry frame feeders, hive-top feeders, entrance feeders, and boardman feeders. Each feeder type has tradeoffs — in-hive feeders prevent robbing but require opening the hive, while external feeders are easier but can attract robbers. Ask us what works best for your situation.

Plastic frame feeder in deep-frame profile. Hangs inside the hive, occupying one frame slot. Float prevents bee drowning.

Large-capacity frame feeder for deep boxes. Occupies two frame slots. 2-gallon capacity reduces refill frequency during fall feeding.

Inverted jar feeder that inserts into the hive entrance. Inexpensive and easy to monitor.

Full-width wooden top feeder. Sits on top of the hive body under the outer cover. Large capacity.
