What it is
A fully assembled deep wooden frame with triple-wax-coated foundation already installed. Ready-to-use — slide it into your deep hive body, and the bees start drawing comb the same day.
Why Premier's triple-wax frames
Premier Bee Products, American-made in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Commercial-grade construction, triple-wax-coated foundation — bees get more wax to work with than single-dip commodity foundation, which means faster draw-out and straighter comb.
Deep size
Deep frames are 8⅜" deep and used for the brood nest in most Arkansas hives. A two-deep brood chamber is standard for a strong colony; each deep holds 10 frames and weighs ~60 lbs when fully drawn, capped, and full of bees.
Usage notes
Ships with bee-space grooves on the top bar and flat side bars. Install all 10 frames in a hive body together — gaps invite burr comb, which wastes the bees' wax on structure you don't want. Frames inside the hive don't need paint; propolis builds up over time and seals everything against moisture.
