Twelve-strip package of Apivar amitraz-based varroa mite treatment strips — enough to treat 6 hives. Hang two strips per brood chamber between frames of brood, leave in place for 6-8 weeks (42-56 days minimum/maximum), then remove. The controlled-release polymer continuously delivers amitraz as bees walk over the strips, targeting multiple mite generations in a single application. Kills up to 99% of varroa mites. No temperature restrictions. Remove honey supers before treating. Manufactured by Véto-pharma in France.
